Regina Public Library Prairie History Room
The Prairie History Room is a specialized collection of non-circulating community history and genealogical materials focusing on the history and peoples of the Northern Great Plains (Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan) from pre-settlement times to present day. The room is located at the Central branch of the Regina Public Library.

Royal Saskatchewan Museum
The Royal Saskatchewan Museum furthers an understanding of Saskatchewan's natural history and aboriginal cultures, past and present. It communicates that understanding through all available media, especially exhibits and publications, in a culturally and scientifically sensitive manner for the purposes of education and enjoyment. The Museum's principal means of understanding and communicating is through acquisition, conservation and research of appropriate material evidence of human and natural history.
Saskatchewan Archives Board
The Saskatchewan Archives serves as the provincial agency responsible for acquiring preserving and making available records of significance to the history of the Province of Saskatchewan. The Archives is home to a broad and diverse collection of records which include public documents created by governments ranging from the Territorial period to modern day as well as records from private citizens, businesses and institutions dating from the mid 19th century.
The Ministry provides leadership and direction to the early learning and child care, Kindergarten through Grade 12 education, literacy, and library sectors.
Saskatchewan Genealogical Society
The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society is the voice of genealogy in Saskatchewan. It is a non-profit provincial cultural organization whose purpose is to promote and develop the study, research, and preservation of genealogy and family history. The mandate of the society is to preserve Saskatchewan records; provide assistance to Saskatchewan residents researching their heritage anywhere and to people researching their Saskatchewan heritage.
Saskatchewan History & Folklore Society Inc.
Since 1957, the Saskatchewan History & Folklore Society, Inc. (SHFS), has vigilantly sought to preserve our province’s past through a vast collection of stories, poems, songs, memoirs, interview podcasts, old letters and pictures. Additionally, the society seeks to capture a “snapshot” of present day Saskatchewan for future generations.
